OUR WINES
We have an interesting
selection of wines from different countries in our on-line shop, ranging from everyday wines to wines for special occasions.
We import wine from family vineyards in France. Some of these vineyards have been owned by the same family for generations
where the land and the knowledge gained from a lifetime of winemaking is passed down through the family.
We support the
small, family vineyards as much as possible. The families who own these vineyards consider themselves guardians of their
land. They have inherited it from their parents and want to protect it to pass on to their children. They do not
over-produce or pollute the soil for increased profit.
The wines we do not import ourselves have been carefully
chosen from different specialist importers. Some of these vineyards are also family owned.
CHAMPAGNE
We have been selling Sourdet-Diot Champagne, one of our imports, for
several years now and it has become much loved by many of our customers. It is a family owned and managed small Champagne
House.
COGNAC AND PINEAU DES CHARENTES
Jean Balluet Cognac is another of our imports. Owned by Monsieur Balluet,
the Cognac House is situated in the Fins Bois Cru of Cognac. He also produces Pineau des Charentes, a sweet aperitif
popular in the area.

ALES
Real Ale has undergone a big revival in this country
over the last few years and there is an increasing number of Microbreweries in the Capital, many producing amazing, award-winning
ales. At the moment the majority of the beers in our shop are from local breweries but we will gradually add more microbreweries
from around the country to our range.
Just as we support small vineyards where we can, we also like to support the small
breweries. These breweries are owned and run by people with a passion for real ale and for improving the quality of
beer throughout the country, whether bottle, cask or keg.
